Sounds Of The Inner Tree

An unusual album, an acoustic study with sounds from inside different trees in their natural environment.

These documentary recordings were made over the course of a year in the department of Finistère in Brittany.

Parallel to the stereo ambient microphone, sensors were attached to and inside the trees. This is how these documentary recordings were created.
The tracks are a mixture of the sounds of the sensors and the ambient sounds of the microphones. They were not edited afterwards and have not been cut together.
The track titles describe the tree and its condition.

No trees were injured or damaged.
